Kort is a standout addition to the Bjorn saddle lineup, different from any of our other saddles. It’s our first short-nose model, combining all the best features of this type of saddle. With its unique shape and 3D-printing possibilities, it provides comfort and stability for riders in an aggressive forward-leaning position.
Kort is ideal for triathlon, touring, and racing. It allows easy adoption of an aggressive aerodynamic position with significant pelvic tilt. The short nose prevents the inner thighs from rubbing against the tip, while its width provides stability in a forward-leaning position. At the same time, the overall saddle width ensures comfort in a more upright posture.

The Kort pad
The Kort shell is made of carbon with a triangular reinforcement pattern underneath, making it stiff and providing excellent power transfer.
The Kort rail interface is designed for maximum durability: instead of being glued, the carbon rails are inserted into reinforced slots, providing a stronger and more reliable structure with minimal weight impact. Compared to adhesive bonding, this design confers greater reliability without a significant weight penalty.

Frequently asked questions
- Is Kort UCI legal?No. Kort is 220 mm long and does not meet the 240 mm UCI requirement. It is built for real world performance rather than rule compliance.
- Is Kort suitable for triathlon and TT?Yes. Kort was developed with triathlon and time trial positions in mind. It supports significant pelvic rotation and stable aero riding.
- How is Kort different from other short nose saddles?Kort allows the rider to use the full saddle range. You can sit in a more neutral road position on the main body of the saddle, or move forward onto the nose for an aggressive aero position. The short shape reduces inner thigh interference, while the width and multi-zone 3D-printed pad maintain stability and support in both positions. This makes Kort dynamic rather than position restricted.
- Is Kort more aggressive than Setka?Yes. Kort is optimized for forward rotated pelvic positions and aero riding. Setka is more universal and better suited for mixed terrain and frequent position changes.
